History: As a pup, Mooncry lived with her family in her birthden. One morning, when she woke up, her family wasn't there. She looked around the den and couldn't find anyone. She howled, hoping her family would howl back, but there was no answer. She left the den to go look for them, but before she got far she heard a few loud bangs, and she ran and came in time to see a monster driving away. Just before it was out of her sight, she could see a part of her mothers pelt in the back of the monster. The frightened young pup howled in despair and ran back to her den, whimpering. She hid, curled up in the corner, hoping that it was only a bad dream, and that she would wake up and be with her family, but when she woke up the next morning and her family wasn't there, she knew it was real. She had eaten what scraps of food were left, and she was starting to get hungry. The young pup didn't know how to hunt, but she left the den to go look for food. She spent the whole day wandering around looking for prey, but couldn't find anything. It was getting dark, and she was cold and hunger, so she turned around to go back to her den, and she realized that she was lost. She miserably curled up where she was and fell asleep. The next morning she woke up and continued to look for food. She was about to give up when she smelled food. She ran toward it and came into a clearing where there was the body of a small deer. She ran up to it and was about to take a huge bite when there was a growl behind her. "Scram pup! That's my prey! Go get your mother to feed you." The large male-wolf chased her away and she ran until she couldn't run any farther. After wandering for a while, Mooncry spotted a pack of wolves in the distance. She got as close as she dared and she watched the wolves work together to hunt. One of the wolves sniffed the air and growled, "I smell another wolf on our territory." After hearing that she ran, until she was sure she was out of their territory. Over the next few moons she survived by eating scraps of prey that other wolves caught when no one was looking until she taught herself to hunt. She would just keep moving to where she could find prey. One day, many moons later, while she was hunting, she ran into a male-wolf from one of the packs and they fell in love. They would secretly meet eachother, until one day, the pack had to leave, and he had to leave with them. Mooncry never saw him again since he left. A few moons after he left, Mooncry had four pups, but the winter they were born during was very cold, and two of them died after the first couple nights. Since then, Mooncry became very protective of her pups, and they wander across the land, looking for a safe place to live where prey is plentiful. Prey is scarce so some nights, Mooncry goes hungry so her pups can eat.
