Flood

Spring is here and the snow has begun to melt. The Southern Pack couldn't have been happier to have the warmth of spring back. But the snow is melting too fast, causing floods. It's only a matter of time before the water rises too high....

"Hmph! The other alphas were better!" she snarled, looking back at Dawn. "You better watch your back!"

Dawn snarls at her "tell me how were they better?! was it because they put their pack in a dangerous area?! or maybe it's because they didn't treat everyone in their pack as equals but as a means to more power?!"she snarls in her face

"No!" Sock snapped back. "They ran the pack the right way! And they tried to put them in the safest position!" She began to walked away again, spraying water in Dawn's face.

She snarls than snorts "fine than if you really believe that then the pack can stay here" she says knowing that Sock's belief in the other alpha's will come back to bite her someday

"Ha! You really are a terrible leader!" Sock snorted. "Leaving your pack in this!" She lifted up a soaking paw from the poll of water around her feet. "If I were alpha, I would take them to the hill I found by Northern Pack territory!"

She smirks "fine if you believe to be alpha material than lead them" she says knowing that spot is better but the floods make it impossible to get there in time "but if you and the pack end up dead don't blame me" she snarls

"Fine," she barked. Sock bounded over to the edge of camp, water splashing behind her. She let out her rusty howl to summon the pack members.

"I agree with Socks," Grace growled, the Beta's hackles raised. "Saber and Phenomenon were much better than you!" The white she wolf followed Sock, looking back at the new Alpha Female, shaking her head, then following the Omega. She herded the pups, nosing and nudging them to a safer place, following Sock's orders. "Too bad Saber got killed.. Probably by her," but she immediately took it back. "Nah, he could fight her off in a heartbeat." How did Saber die...? He was to smart to get killed.. Grace shook her head and concentrated on helping the pack.

Sock nodded, sorrow filling her eyes. The old alpha was quite kind and was going to raise her rank before Dawn came. She searched the pups for Rogue and found the quiet pup at the edge of the crowd. She nodded to the brown she-pup. Then she summoned Grace to her side.
