Competition!

First topic message reminder :

Here's just a friendly competition between packs where three wolves from each pack are chosen to fight individually. See which pack wins!

Packs included are - Northern Pack, Southern Pack and Phantom Pack

So, three wolves, each from different pack, will go against each other. Alliance is allowed.

Phantom shuddered. There were wolves everywhere, all carrying scents from different packs. Oh well, its just a competition right? He thought and grinned evilly. Phantom Pack will win anyway. Why not have some fun?

He gathered the rest of the Phantom Wolves and growled. "Who's going first? If no one goes, I'll be going."

"And who for Southern?" Gracesong added, eyeing her brother.

~ Can you guys decided quick? ~

"Those Phantom Wolves are cub-killers," Saber growled. "Southern Pack will not participate in anything other than battle with the Phantom Pack. Southern Pack, let's go," Saber howled, baring his teeth at Phantom.

Sock snarled weakly. "No fair! I went!" She struggled to get up. Her worst wounds oozed slightly as she trudged over to Gracsong.

"Then you can be higher in rank, but I don't want any of my wolves to think it's okay to act like them," Saber growled.

Sock nodded swiftly. "Yes. Yes. Yes," she replied excitedly but quiet.

"What rank do you want?" He asked roughly. "Do you want the other Beta position?"

Sock blinked. "That would be an honor! But sadly have to decline taking on that rank.. I shouldn't get a job so important. Maybe I should be a Guardian perhaps?"

"Alright. Gracesong, gather the pack! Southern Pack, follow me!" Saber started to walk away.

Silentshadow rolled here eyes. Cowards.... Phantom Pack has gotten the idea now. Why can't they forget it already? This is so stupid.

Chrome glared at Saber and snarled. "I didn't go for the death grip! It was the training death grip I used, enough to maintain my hold, but not enough to choke or pierce the skin. But since Southern Pack didn't win, maybe I can understand why you want to leave!" She growled, eyes red with exhaustion and fury.

~Red eyes? ~

"No, I was talking about when you attacked our camp, and tried to kill our cubs! Remember?! Or are you too stupid?!" Saber growled, sticking his face in hers. "Remember? You tried to take Rue, a cub, as prisoner?!"

Sock nodded. "Yeah! And one of you members attacked me in our camp!" She snarled. "And a second time taking Rue from me!"

Chrome rolled her eyes. "And what was your alpha female doing, hm? Oh yeah, it was trying to kill her own cub! Or have you forgotten that?"

"She never killed Illusion, or are you blind?!" Saber growled.

"What?" Sock shrieked. "Phenomenon wouldn't do that!" She huffed and kenlt down, trying to gather her strength again. "Nonny has a good soul.. most of the time.."

Chrome snorted. "And I didn't kill Sock or Silverstorm! Or are you blind?" she shot back at Saber.

"But you tried to," Saber growled, rolling his eyes.

Silverstorm snarled. "If not directly, I almost died form those wounds! If you weren't trying to kill, I'm a tree!"

~Is she growling at Chrome, or Saber? >.> ~

Chrome smirked. "Looks like you're a tree then. 'Cause I wasn't trying to kill. Are you all deaf? I told you that I used a training death grip." She rolled her eyes. "But I know what you'll say. 'Yeah right, you were trying to kill both of them, don't try to deny it!'" Chrome imitated in a mocking, high voice. "I don't have time to listen to your whining."

"Then stop trying to kill!" Saber growled.

"'Stop trying to kill! You were going to kill both of them! You're going to try to kill everyone!'" Chrome mimicked scornfully. "Yeah, I heard you, since you like, repeated that 10 times during the whole conversation. Have you noticed that that's the only thing you say when after I reply? Huh. Maybe you're just trying to cause trouble!" She narrowed her eyes. "And for the last time, I wasn't trying to kill!"

"Then explain your actions," Saber growled.

Chrome sighed in exasperation. "Okay," she said slowly, as if speaking to a slow person. "It wasn't a real death grip. It's the training grip us Phantom Wolves use for hunting. We practice on each other, and the grip is enough just for a firm hold, not enough to pierce the skin. I did what you thought looked like a death grip, but wasn't. If we used that to practice, all the Phantom wolves would be dead by now! And I used it because having a firm grip on a wolf's throat effectively slows and weighs down fast and agile wolves like those to. Happy now?"

Sock snorted. "Hmph! So I'm just magically bleeding from my neck?" She limped over to Chrome and got in her face. "Watch it, spider-skunk!"
