Competition!

First topic message reminder :

Here's just a friendly competition between packs where three wolves from each pack are chosen to fight individually. See which pack wins!

Packs included are - Northern Pack, Southern Pack and Phantom Pack

So, three wolves, each from different pack, will go against each other. Alliance is allowed.

Phantom shuddered. There were wolves everywhere, all carrying scents from different packs. Oh well, its just a competition right? He thought and grinned evilly. Phantom Pack will win anyway. Why not have some fun?

He gathered the rest of the Phantom Wolves and growled. "Who's going first? If no one goes, I'll be going."

Phantom barked," Start now!"

Chrome immediately leaped, her body a dark blur as she tore Silversorm's shoulder to the bone and leaped clear, out of range. She swerved gracefully behind Sock and laced hr flank with a lightning-fast snap. Chrome danced clear again, her eyes narrowed. She snarled and surveyed her two oppoents with a practiced eye, her gaze never leaving them.

Sock squealed and fell to the ground. She struggled to stand. The red wolf eyed Chrome angrily. Sock rushed at the Phantom wolf. Her jaws latched onto her neck with a clumsy grip.

Chrome shook free, her jaws sinking twice in quick succession into the Southern wolf's neck. She snarled and snapped at her nose, her teeth clipping into the soft flesh. Chrome leaped away with a low growl.

Sock shook her head. The slow she-wolf charged at Chrome. Using her weight as an advantage, she jumped onto Chrome and just laid on her.

Silverstorm took the opening and rushed at Chrome too, tearing Crome's ear and slicing deeply into her back. Caught in the exhiliration of the moment, Silverstorm didn't feel any pain from her shoulder at all. She ignored Sock for the moment, focusing all her energy on Chrome.

Chrome tore open Sock's stomach and twisted gracefully in mid-air as she leaped at Silverstorm. Shoulder met shoulder and Chrome's fangs sank into her throat as she shoved the Northern wolf over.

~How do we declare a wolf winner? When the wolf has gotten a hold on the other's throat? o.O Or when the wolf goes unconscious?~

She yelped and shivered on the ground for a few moments. Sock then reached out and dug deeply into Silverstorm's neck with her teeth.

Twisting away from the two she-wolves at the last moment, Silverstorm leapt backward for a brief respite then began a complicated sequence of attacks. Her jaws a lethal trap and claws a whirlwind of daggers, Silverstorm was a deadly enemy, lunging for powerful bites and dancing away like lightning to avoid counterattacks.

Sock rolled away from the two wolves. She watched, panting, at Silverstorm's strength, agility, and elaborate attacks as the Northern wolf attack Chrome.

But Chrome was sly. She pressed Silverstorm, easily dodging the wolf's clipping jaws. She returned swift blows, her white fangs gleaming as her fangs sank into flesh and released, slashed and tore. Chrome backed Silverstorm in to a corner of a rock wall so she couldn't leap away, and fastened her teeth into her throat in a death-grip.

Sock gasped at the she-wolf's ferocious combats. She scurried over behind Chrome and blinked sympathetically at Silverstorm. Then she bit deep into Chrome's shoulder.

Chrome refused to release Silverstorm and instead kicked out at Sock, missing the first time, and finally managed to clip her in the shoulder. She snarled, her fierce growl muffled by the thick fur.

Under Sock's pressure, Silverstorm was able to slip free of Chrome's grip. Nodding gratefully at Sock, she spun and renewed her attack on Chrome, smashing her against the rock and slicing bone-deep gashes on Chrome's chest.

Sock growled with frustration. She jumped up and latched on to Chrome's neck with her sharp teeth. Sock kicked at the she-wolf's neck, as if trying to pull a piece of meat off a bone.

Chrome slid off to one side and slammed into Silverstorm with crushing force and while the other wolf was scrambling for balance, she turned on Sock and tore her shoulder to the bone, snarling wrathfully at her unexpected alliance with the Northern Pack. Chrome swung back to Silverstorm, her jaws a swift blur as she tore open Silverstorm's jugular.

Silverstorm suddenly thought of a new tactic. She whipped her tail into Chrome's face then delivered a powerful blow t her shoulder under the distraction.

Chrome leaped back and managed to avoid the worst of the blow. But Silverstorm had to turn around to whack her with her tail. When the she-wolf was still turning around, she gave her a hefty push and Silverstorm sprawled face-first into the snow.

Sock squealed and limped over to Chrome. She grabbed her muzzle in her teeth and tugged gently.

Chrome simply rushed forward and tipped Sock over, forcing her to release her hold. She bit into her throat once, deeply, and leaped clear, twisting to land on her feet. She turned back to Silverstorm, although she kept one eyes on Sock.

Sock collapsed and whimpered. She rolled over on her back and cried, "Stop! Stop..!"

Silverstorm lay limp. While Chrome was distracted, she dug under the snow, careful to stop just under Chrome's belly. She erupted out of the snow, spraying flakes everywhere, and dealt a severe, if not fatal, blow to Chrome's belly. However fast and strong Chrome was, Silverstorm would always be more agile. She now used that to her advantage, avoiding blows that would otherwise be fatal.

Chrome tore open Silverstorm's face from the left side and leaped away. She glared at her and snarled, "Didn't you hear Sock, or are you deaf? She said 'stop!'" Chrome narrowed her eyes and ignored the pain, but she glanced back at the Pack leaders quizzically, as if to say, What now?

Sock fluttered dust out of her eyes and shook her head. "Nnnn..." She closed her eyes and sighed. "I need to go.."

Silverstorm sat awkwardly, trying not to hurt her shoulder. She was breathing heavily as she waited for the pack leaders.
